Extinct is an Australian fashion Label which began operation in 2002. From its inception on Brunswick Street Fitzroy, the label has now expanded into the inner CBD of Melbourne with the opening of its second concept store in March 2006 on Little Collins Street. Extinct bears more than what the name suggests. With the initial name connecting to the idea of creating garments that are not in existence. "... Extinct doesn't deal in dinosaur bones. It does however take influence from the best of bygone fashion eras and makes them wearable today." Extinct's aesthetic is focused on a tailored minimal look for both men and women. All garments are proudly MADE IN MELBOURNE using Australian, NZ and Italian natural fabrics, from the tailored suiting through to the extensive denim range.
